Shri. N S Vishwanathan has varied experience as a
central banker including handling administrative functions for RBI.
As the Deputy Governor, he has handled the Banking, non-banking and cooperative banking regulation, governance, internal control, risk management functions and human resource management of RBI and enforcement. During his illustrious career, he handled the role of Director - Supervision Bank of Mauritius (Central Bank of Mauritius) and acted as the Chief Vigilance Officer and Head of Internal Audit, Industrial Financial Corporation of India. He was also a member of the Board of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) between July 2016 till March 2020. He has been invited to be a member of various international committees and organisations and has also been part of various domestic bodies / committees. He holds a master's degree in economics and a bachelor's degree in arts from Bangalore University and has completed advanced leadership programme from Judge Business School, Cambridge University, UK.
Shri P.N. Prasad is a seasoned banker with 37 years of domestic and global experience.
He retired as the Deputy Managing Director of State Bank of India, India’s largest Commercial Bank. At the time of superannuation, he was heading the Commercial Clients Group, the Corporate Banking Vertical and the Project Finance & Structuring SBU of the State Bank of India. He is a Postgraduate in Chemistry and is an All India rank holder in CAIIB examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Bankers. In his career, he handled some challenging assignments in leadership positions such as Chief Executive Officer, Antwerp; General Manager, Mid Corporate Regional Office, Chennai covering states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Pondicherry; Chief General Manager (Mid Corporate Group), covering Western India and Deputy Managing Director (Commercial Clients Group) including the Project Finance & Structuring Strategic Business Unit (PF& S SBU). Mr. Prasad has got rich experience in Corporate & International Banking, Project Finance & Structuring, Debt Syndication, Stressed Asset Management & Resolution, Risk Management, Trade Finance, Compliances etc. Mr. Prasad was the Chairman of the Co-ordination Committee appointed by the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India, to address the issues faced by the Gems & Jewellery Sector in India. He represented the Bank in committees appointed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of Power to address the issues faced by these sectors. He was the nominee director of State Bank of India in HDFC Venture Capital Ltd and Oman India Joint Investment Fund Management Company Private Ltd. He also served as a member in the committee constituted by Reserve Bank of India in April 2021 for comprehensive review of Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs). He is presently a shareholder Director in Bank of India and an Independent Director in Insolvency Professional Agency of Institute Cost Accountants of India (IPA ICAI). He is also a Senior Advisor (Banking) to the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
Smt. Sudha Krishnan joined the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS) in 1983.
She possesses Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA), George Mason University Virginia, USA, Masters Degree in English Literature (MA) and Bachelors Degree (Hons) in English Literature (BA Honours) from Delhi University. She retired as Member Finance to the Space Commission and Atomic Energy Commission. As Member Finance, she served as the advisor to the Commissions on financial business pertaining to the Departments of Space and Atomic Energy. Smt. Krishnan has close to four decades of experience in public policy and finance. She has worked on secondment at the Ministry of Finance in different capacities where she has handled diverse portfolios including World Bank projects, personnel matters of the Central Government and writing memoranda and reports for the Finance Minister on improving the overall effectiveness of Government spending. She also served as Financial Adviser to the Ministry of Urban Development. She has been a Government nominee director on the boards of many Government companies and banks. In her parent department namely, the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, the Supreme Audit Institution (SAI) of India. She has led and coordinated the production of several audit reports including the audit of the Central Board of Direct Taxes. As Principal Director (International Co-operation) she was directly responsible for advising and implementing the CAG’s international obligations both bilateral and multilateral. In her last assignment in the office of the CAG, she was responsible for developing and strengthening professional standards and practices in audit. Smt. Krishnan serves as Independent Director on boards of SBI Funds Management Ltd, IDFC Financial Holding Company Ltd and Graphite India Ltd.
Shri. Rajesh Doshi is an Alumni of Indian Institute of Technology (Mumbai), with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (1973 batch).
He began his career as a Trainee Engineer with Tata Burroughs Ltd., which was later merged with TCS Ltd. He has been associated with National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) since its inception in 1996 in capacity of Executive Director IT with overall responsibility to set-up and manage Information Technology Systems for NSDL’s many projects, including main Securities Depository system, Tax Information Network (TIN), The Central Recordkeeping Agency (CRA) system for the National pension Scheme (NPS) etc. Subsequent to demerger of NSDL’s non-depository business into a separate company NSDL e Governance ltd (NeGIL), he assumed additional charge of overall operations of depository business in capacity of Senior Executive Director and retired from this post on 29th February, 2016. He was member of the board of NSDL’s wholly owned subsidiary company NSDL Database Management Ltd (NDML) and was designated Director In-charge. NDML is engaged in undertaking several socially useful first of its kind IT centric nationwide project with Pan India reach, including National Insurance - policy Repository (NIR), SEZ online system for Ministry of Commerce (MOC), National Skills Registration (NSR) portal in association with NASSCOM, PayGov payment gateway for DeIT, KYC Registration Agency (KRA) system for securities market etc.
Shri Satyendra Kumar Singh is currently serving as Chief Credit Officerand Chief Sustainability Officer at State Bank of India.
In this capacity, he brings a wealth of experience across various business verticals in the Bank, especially in corporate credit and International Banking. In his current assignment,he is responsible for setting policy directions in the areas of credit and ESG as well as overseeing credit approvals, credit processes and credit policy & procedures across the Bank. Prior to this, as a Deputy Manager Director (Commercial Clients Group), he was responsible for overseeing more than 1000 corporate client relationships across the country. Mr. Singh had held various assignments including CGM (Kolkata Circle), CGM (Corporate Accounts Group) and Chief Executive Officer, London office (2019 to 2022). He also worked at SBI Sydneyoverseeing Operations,Compliance& Risk (2008 to 2013). He represents SBI as a Nominee Director on the Boards of NeSL (National e-Governance Services Ltd), NADL (NeSL Asset Data Limited), and ARCIL (Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited). Mr. Singh is a graduate in Economics. He is also a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He has attended advanced Leadership programs at Indian School of Business and Havard Business School.
Smt. Bindu Paul has been Executive Director in Investment-Mid Office Department since 10 April 2024. Her journey in LIC commenced in 1989 as a Direct Recruit Officer of the 17th Batch.
Ms. Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Kerala University. She has pursued PGEP from IIM Ahmedabad, Fellowship from Insurance Institute of India and NCFM from NSE Academy. In different capacities, she has worked in all the three Departments of Investment, i.e. Investment Front Office, Mid Office and Back Office for the last eleven years. Beyond Investment, she has specialised experience of all Branch operational departments and Personnel Department. She has handled various assignments in different Branches and Divisions of the Corporation under Western Zone and Southern Zone. During last few years, she had played pivotal role in Investment by optimal utilization of Information technology in automating many systems and procedures and embedding Risk Management in investment decision making process; one of the results is end-to-end automated equity management solution. Ms. Paul believes that success is doing ordinary things incrementally and extraordinarily well. Ms. Bindu Paul is an avid reader. She enjoys travelling and listening to classical music.
Shri. Lal Singh, is the Executive Director of Bank of Baroda, since October 9, 2023.
He monitors the functions of various portfolios such as Human Resources, Disciplinary Proceedings, Learning & Development, Planning, Risk Management, Compliance, Information Security, Operations & Services, Customer Experience, Audit & Inspection, Accounts, Taxation, Subsidiaries, Economics & Investor Relations, Facilities Management including Administration and Security, Corporate Ethics and ESG, Information Security and earlier Digital and IT Operations. As a career banker, he has 34 years of deep and distinguished experience in Banking Operations including MSME Credit, Corporate Finance, Rural and Agri Business, Financial Inclusion, Stressed Assets Management and Human Resource Development. He has served multiple board and leadership level positions. He is Director in the Board of Bank of Baroda’s Overseas territories in Kenya and Tanzania. He is also the Nominee Director in PSB Alliance Pvt Ltd and Baroda Global Shared Services. While in Union Bank, he was the Chairman of the Sub Committee of the State Level Bankers’ Committee, Uttar Pradesh for Credit Deposit Ratio and Bringing Green Revolution to Eastern India (BGREI). He was a nominee director on the board of the UP Industrial Consultants Limited (UPICO), M/s. Nab Samruddhi Finance Ltd (subsidiary of NABARD), PSB Alliance Pvt. Ltd., Supervisory Board of India Micro Finance Equity Fund (SIDBI), Trustee on the Governing Board of Indian Institute of Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati and also Union Bank of India Social Foundation Trust (UBSFT) for Corporate Social Responsibility as well as Union Bank of India’s Employees Trust for Pension, Provident Fund and Gratuity. He is known for his people development, team building and motivation, and customer engagement skills. He is a Post Graduate in Agricultural Sciences, Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and has completed a Diploma in Treasury, Investment and Risk Management (DITIRM), AMFI & CeBA. He has a Certification in Micro Finance, and has attended the Global Strategy & Leadership Program at UVA Darden School of Business - Virginia USA & ISB, Hyderabad. He was part of the 1st batch of senior executives selected by Banks Board Bureau (now FSIB) for the Leadership Development Program organised by IIM Bangalore and Egon Zehnder International Pvt. Ltd.
Shri. Prabhat K. Singh currently serves as the Head of Retail Credit, Process Management, and Mortgage Valuation Group.
He is an alumnus of IIM Mumbai and holds a B.E. in Production Engineering.
Shri. Debajyoti Ray Chaudhuri is an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (Delhi) and Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.
He is a passionate leader with a long track record of successfully managing assignments of a diverse nature. Immediately prior to joining NeSL, he was Chief General Manager in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) where he took some path-breaking initiatives like the implementation of the Companies (Registered Valuer and Valuation) Rules, 2017. His articles on issues related to insolvency have been published in reputed publications/national newspapers. He has been a speaker in numerous seminars/workshops related to corporate insolvency and educational institutions like the NLUs. Prior to joining IBBI, he was at the corporate office of India’s largest bank, SBI, where he was responsible for compliance and risk, and implementation of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, at its largest business vertical. Among his other assignments in SBI was the setting up SBI’s Dubai operations as a highly profitable unit within a short span of time. As the CEO of SBI Dubai, he was much sought after by other Indian banks and also the Indian community for his views on issues like the Indian economy, personal investment, trade flows and exchange rates. He was conferred the "Business Excellence and Innovative Best Practices - Academia Awards 2020" by the New Delhi Institute of Management. Under his leadership, NeSL has been accredited as the Best Innovation in RegTech, at IFTA 2022, Best Reg Tech Solution at the BW 3rd Edition of Festival of Fintech Awards 2023 and the Digital & Fintech Solution of the Year at the 2024 at the Dun & Bradstreet Award for Business Excellence Awards. In April 2024, Shri. Debajyoti Ray Chaudhuri was conferred the Leader’s Award at the BIG CIO Show and Awards 2024.
NeSL is India’s first Information Utility and is registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) under the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).
