Role Summary
National e-Governance Services Limited (NeSL), India’s first Information Utility established under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), is seeking an accomplished Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Full Stack Engineering & DevSecOps to lead the design, development, delivery, and operational excellence of enterprise-grade digital platforms supporting critical national financial infrastructure.
The AVP will provide strategic and technical leadership across application development, DevSecOps, engineering governance, platform modernization, release management, security compliance, and operational resilience. The role will be responsible for driving engineering excellence, enhancing platform scalability and reliability, and building high-performing teams capable of delivering secure, compliant, and highly available solutions.
This role combines deep technical expertise, people leadership, and business alignment to support NeSL’s growth, regulatory commitments, and digital transformation objectives.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in enterprise application development, DevOps transformation, and engineering leadership.
Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- 12-18 years of overall IT experience.
- 5-7+ years of experience managing application development and engineering teams.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java-based enterprise application development.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, high-availability, mission-critical applications.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Experience managing technology teams comprising Developers, Architects, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and DevOps Engineers.
- Strong understanding of security, regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks.
- Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Payment Systems, Capital Markets, or other regulated technology environments.
