Role Overview
This will be a customer-facing role responsible for handling customers’ technical queries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a positive customer experience across all touchpoints. This will also involve supporting banks and financial institutions in the integration, onboarding, and post-implementation support of NeSL APIs and solutions. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents while maintaining high service availability and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and adherence to defined SLAs and compliance standards.
Experience & Skills
- 4-8 years of prior experience in application development or technical support.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Good understanding of basics of RESTful APIs, web services and web application.
- Experience with API tools such as Postman, Swagger, curl.
- Basic understanding of authentication mechanisms (API keys, certificates, tokens)
- Experience in log analysis and issue troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of databases (SQL) is an advantage.
- Exposure to BFSI / FinTech systems, transaction processing is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Banking and Financial Services domain, preferably in regulated environments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and handle multiple client engagements.
- Willingness to take ownership and adapt to new challenges.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure in production environments.
- Exposure to the ISMS environment preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary technical support contact for banks and financial institutions during onboarding and any customer queries.
- Deliver post-implementation support, including monitoring, issue analysis, root cause identification, and resolution.
- Handle production issues, client queries, and change requests in coordination with internal engineering and operations teams.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders on integration status and operational issues.
- Analyse API request/response payloads (JSON/XML) to identify errors and failures.
- Troubleshoot issues related to authentication, authorization, headers, payloads, and digital certificates
- Validate API configurations, endpoints, and environment-specific parameters
- Ensure adherence to defined support processes, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate unresolved issues to relevant internal teams and coordinate until closure.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding products, services, and processes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy while interacting with customers.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of customer and financial data.
Education
- B.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / ECE / EEE, or
MCA / M.Sc. (CS/IT) – full-time - Strong and consistent academic performance.
